The title of the work featured prominently on the left side of the double-page spread is “Flowers Will Surely Bloom.”
What will happen in the future amid the COVID-19 pandemic?
I created this work at a time when society as a whole was feeling gloomy and people thought things would never go back to normal. The base of the work is discarded PET bottles.
Even from the harsh conditions of discarded PET bottles, or in other words garbage, we should have the power to make new flowers bloom. I created this work with the desire to believe in our own future. The colorful ball-like things are colored walnuts.
One of the highlights of “Excellent Woman” is the visuals, which feature up-and-coming artists and a collaboration between fashion and art, and introduces the latest items from luxury brands according to themes derived from unique perspectives.
“The arrival of spring is a signal that curiosity begins to blossom. If we let our bodies follow the excitement in our hearts, we can become more free.
Now is the time for our dormant individuality to blossom. Let the parade begin.”
